just like there are different types of ghost or spirits , ghost and spirits have different energy levels that allow them to certain things in the places that they haunt .this is actually something i come across just recently. this came from the book " dark world " by Zak Bagans ( co-founder and lead investigator for the ghost adventures crew )
LEVEL 1 - WEAK SPIRITS THAT PASS THROUGH YOU. THEY REACH OUT AND TOUCH YOU TO TRY TO CONTACT THE LIVING, RESULTING IN EMOTIONAL CHANGES, COLD DRAFTS , AND GOOSE BUMPS
LEVEL 2 - SPIRITS WHO COMMUNICATE THROUGH ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS SUCH AS EVPS. THIS IS THE MOST COMMON TYPE OF SPIRIT PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS WILL ENCOUNTER
LEVEL 3 - SPIRITS WHO CAN MANIFEST VISUALLY. THEY HAVE LEARNED TO MAKE THEMSELVES SEEN OR ARE RESIDUAL HAUNTINGS
LEVEL 4 - SPIRITS THAT CAN MOVE OBJECTS IF THE CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT.
